Me, Myself and I

Back to my real world after all those awsome trips. Malasnya nak update betul2. Hehe, my mood all gone since I arrived Msia coz the next day I had a test which was last night. Mmg sangat tak nak balik Malaysia la aritu! hehe. Sayu je bila dah landing. Hehe. But well, I did the test eventhough at first I thought of taking a Medical Cert. for having jet lag(padahal nervous gile takut takbley jawab) and then sit for the supplementary test but then I thought again that supp. test might be much harder so I just go on studying till I feel like vomiting coz had less than 24 hours to cover all those topics. Not much actually coz it’s only half of a chapter but its quite a lot and difficult coz it’s complex numbers. Haha, I remembered that I used to write about complex numbers here. Macam amik satu subjek tu je padahal byk je lagi. Taktau lah, maybe sebab asyik kecewa je dgn grade Math for the past 3 sems tak best sgt, pdhl Math tu sbnrnye interesting tatau pesal sejak2 wat degree ni macam ngong skit je kepala ni. Hehe.

Ok, back to the story. The trip went well. We calculated the total flights we went for the whole round the world trip. This was what we got -> 12 aircrafts, 6 airlines, 17 days. 12 kali turun naik kapal terbang. Penat ok. Well, that was because of the transits we had to reach our desired destination. We went on those airlines under Star Alliance that’s why we had to have lots of transits. From KLIA(Singapore Airlines)-Singapore(United Airlines)-Narita(United)-Seattle. Then Seattle(United)-Washington D.C(United)-Frankfurt(Spanair)-Madrid(Spanair)-Granada. Later Granada(Spanair)-Barcelona(Lufthansa)-Frankfurt(Lufthansa)-Cairo. Nak balik Malaysia pun kena transit lagi, Cairo(Egypt Air)-Bangkok(Thai Airlines)-KLIA. Of all those transit kat Frankfurt je kitorg turun(only me and my siblings) pergi tour Frankfurt town in 1 hour. Dahla bahasa Jerman, tak paham langsung luckily lepas sampai kat Frankfurt punya main train station before nak naik dia punya andergraund jumpa satu family Melayu ni nak pergi town juga. So diorg bawa la kitorg pegi Romer Square ni and dapat la tengok tmpt cantik dan pergi sungai dia.Tatau nama apa. Tak kisah la kan. Hehe. Worth it la. Sejam je kitorg jalan2 coz nak kena balik before time yang kitorg dah janji kat Mak n Ayah. :D.

Malas pulak nak tulis lagi semua. Cerita kat Seattle pun tak habis lagi. Maybe I’ll post photos in my photo album and I’ll write some stories under those photos. There was one interesting trip kat Washington State when we drove from Seattle to Yakima. On the way to Yakima we met snowy mountains, then semi desert area with canyon before arrived at this red indian cultural village which actually closes at 5 p.m when that was the time we arrived. Hehe. Takpelah. Eventho kecewa sebab takdpt tgk culture diorg at least on the way tu dpt tgk different sceneries in just a day. It’s actually a pergi-balik trip. We actually went back to Seattle that night coz we had a hotel there of course. Of course dekat snowy mountains tu main la snow kan.  Igt nak skiing gak coz ada tempat ski kat situ tapi time tu hujan pulak mcm tak best. The mountains(Washington Cascades) were actually the Cascades Mountain Range which extends from British Columbia,Canada up to California. Didnt have the pictures yet coz it’s in Kak Nin’s camera. Maybe this weekend I’ll take those from her. That was the most interesting part in Washington state. The rest of the days byk leisure. A day before Yakima after we rent a car we actually went to visit Bellevue dekat area rumah where all of my family (xcept me coz tak wujud lagi. hehe) used to live for a year lebih je pun. Hehe, tgk rumah semua, tengok tadika Kak Nin, sekolah Kak Chah, hospital where Abe was born, etc. Later that evening we thought of going to this Red Indian Village jugak dekat Tulalip but we ended going the the Premium Outlet shopping. Hehe. Jalan jam gila sampai dah gelap nak tgk apa kat red indian punya tempat. Dua-dua kali pergi tempat red indian mesti sampai dah gelap. hehe. Before pergi Yakima tu pergi la visit kubur Ismail for the last time. Taktau dah bila nak visit kubur dia lagi after this. Masa hari nak gi Yakima tu akhirnya we saw Mount Rainier by the lake. Owh,we actually passed by Bill Gates’ house twice. It’s by the Washington Lake if I’m not mistaken. Nampak la rumah Bill Gates. Sekali masa jalan2 dengan Richard lepas tu masa nak g Yakima.

Later cerita Granada+Cordoba+Cairo tulis kat gambar la pulak after I get all the pictures from Kak Nin. My collection tak byk sgt gambarnye.

Ha, dah lama tak update. I have 8 minutes to go now. Using this paid internet ikut masa 2 euros for una hora(one hour). Currently in Granada. Mañana = esok nak g Egypt plak. Takbleh nak tulis panjang2 coz masa tak cukup. Aritu kat US last 3 days penat gile balik malam je malas nak g online. So, will update later. Malam ni dah nak naik flight g Barcelona dulu, tido sana kejap esok pagi dah flight g Frankfurt lagi sekali. Aritu dah transit kat Frankfurt siap keluar g jalan2 town. Alamak, nnti lah update, tak sempat. Hehe. Kalau kat Cairo ada internet bagus la kalau tak tunggu balik Msia nnti la baru bleh update. Adios!

Haha, habislah, after I found out about this business centre I’ll be pengunjung setia setiap tgh malam. Hehe. See, I’ve been here for 2 nights in a row. Siang hari penat berjalan, balik pukul 4 lebih, sembahyang jamak zohor asar (maghrib pukul 5.20 ptg..awal sgt la, jalan2 pun tak puas sebab nak kejar sembahyang kat hotel), tido kejap, pastu bangun pukul 8 lebih. Haha, I thought I slept so long when I looked at the clock I thought it was 8 a.m. Coz masa tido pukul 6 lebih tu dah gelap, so I thought dah bangun tido pagi la kan. Maybe sebab penat sangat tak sedar. Bangun2 tu tanya Kak Nin sekarang ni 8 pagi ke, 8 malam. Sangat kecewa bila tau baru 8 malam. Haha, see, now I’m Sleepless in Seattle again. Oklah, takde lah lambat sangat macam semalam. Baru pukul 11.50 p.m. Standard la tu kat Malaysia pun tak tdo lagi time2 cenggini.

Basically today we went up to the Space Needle. Got a view of Seattle but sadly the weather was kind of gloomy at first but later the sun came out and the view is much nicer towards the Elliot Bay and Puget Sound, just that we cant see Olympic National Park and Mt. Rainier coz it’s still cloudy over there. Ayah macam kecewa sikit la coz dia ingat nak naik Space Needle tu petang, but we went there kind of in the morning la jugak. Dalam weather forecast kata petang macam sunny sikit. Takpelah kan, matahari baru nak kuar masa kitorg atas Space Needle tu. Later we took the monorail again and had a walk along 1st Avenue heading to Pier 55 where we later took the ferry. Masa jalan tu we went through the Public Market. Nampak king crab’s leg la, ikan-ikan yang best, fresh flowers, etc, nama lagi pasar kan. Mostly are seafoods coz pasar dia dah nak dekat ngn laut dah. Lepas dah sampai Pier tu kitorg pun ride on the ferry la. Sejuk gile dahla winter pastu berangin pulak tu. Seattle time ni takde snow dah. Sejuk camtu je la. Pagi semalam ngn pagi tadi tgk kat news kat Chicago, NY semua kat North East still snow yang teruk lagi. Kitorg kat sini lepak je biarpun Seattle pun North jugak. Kalau nak kira Seattle ni banyak hujan je. Orang kata Seattle ni Rain City. It did snow in Seatttle but it was during November. Biasala time2 tu snow. Pelik la gak kat NE sana snow time2 cmni kan. Cuaca dunia mmg dah gile pun skang. Global warming eh. Oh, masa atas ferry tu ada nampak itik2 comel duk melepak dalam air, pastu yang lagi comel ialah nampak sea lion ramai2 duk melepak kat atas apa tah, macam ada besi bulat tengah2 laut tu, menjemur kut. Cute sangat, bila kitorg datang dekat diorg wat tatau je. Angkat kepala, tengok pastu sambung melepak. Hehe. Tak pernah nak nampak sea lion selain kat zoo. Huhu. Ramai pulak yang ni, adala dalam 8 ekor.

Lepas naik ferry kitorg jalan2 masuk kedai souvenir and then balik la coz time tu dah pukul 3.30 p.m. Took a walk and then a bus and then a walk back to the hotel. Haha, gila la detail kan cerita. Tatau nk buat apa time2 tak boleh tido ni. Semalam tu lepas tulis entry, balik bilik takboleh tidur satu jam! Tiba-tiba dapat a call from a friend in Malaysia plak. Apesal tah gi angkat tak pepasal mahal kene bayar dua2 orang. Huhu, maybe sebab time tu kul 3 pagi, takut kacau orang lain tdo main angkat je. Takpelah kan.

Oklah, if I have time tomorrow(well, I think I might have loads of time at night:)), I’ll update again!

I’m finally in Seattle right now. Been here for 2 days already. It’s now 1.54 a.m in Seattle and it’s 5.54 p.m in Malaysia. Haha, 16 hours different huh. So the jetlag one. Hehe.

We arrived here on Sunday morning after i-dont-know-how-many-hours-of-travel from Singapore-Narita-Seattle. Well, it’s 5 hours from Singapore to Narita, and we had to wait at Narita for about 3 hours and then to Seattle for a journey of another 8 hours. We actually depart from Singapore at 7 a.m Sunday and we arrived at Seattle around 10 a.m Sunday as well. Magic eh. Hehe, like I mentioned before, it’s 16 hours different right. So we kind of gain a day for the whole travel.

Basically what we had done here for these 2 days weren’t that much. After we arrived on Sunday, all we did was sleep. Hehe, jetlag right. We woke up around 3, mandi,makan and so on then we had some walk around Seattle. We stayed at Holiday Inn and it’s kinda near to the Space Needle, so we had a walk towards there, went into the souvenir shop and did not decide to go up the Space Needle that day coz we thought of doing it the day after but it end up to be the day after tomorrow which will be later in the morning after I’m writing this. :D. It’s winter and maghrib was around 5 p.m., nothing much can be done during the night. We went for a walk, ride on the monorail and end up did some shopping at Gap store.

Yesterday, which was Monday, Richard from JJ Limousine (the agent which pick us up from the airport and drop us at the hotel) went to pick us up again for the 5 hours tour at 9 a.m. I guess because we asked them to pick us at the airport and to send us back, they kind of provide the tour la kot. I’m not sure but it was part of the plan provided by the travel agent. First destination of the day was of course my brother, Ismail Yaacob’s grave. It was Abe’s twin who died here 22+ years ago when he was born. I would have 2 Abes if he’s still alive but Allah loves him most so He took him away. I’ll upload the pictures later coz I did not bring the cable coz I thought it might be hard to find internet here but hey, this hotel provide free internet, printing service and i-dont-know-what-else! Hehe, they have internet inside the room through the TV macam astro but we have to pay for that. I dont know how much but it must be expensive. So why bother to pay at a price we dont know if we can get it free at the business centre. Can print somemore! And it is 24 hours! Haha, that’s why I’m still here in the middle of the night.

Back to the story. Richard brought us to somewhere else, interesting places with nice view within Seattle. We also went to the hospital where Abe was born. Lakeview Hospital which I’m not mistaken. Later we went to see the Microsoft’s Main Campus and we also saw Bill Gates’ house. Bill Gates is from Seattle, and the Microsoft’s Office here is the first one being set up by him. My father told me that during his years here back in 1982, there was only 1 building in Seattle but now, they have hundreds of them. I cant remember the exact number but it’s more than 200. They named the building with numbers, like Building 1 and so on. Boeing was from here as well. We get to see the Boeing field on our way to Tacoma. Well, we havent been to any of the museums of places yet. Just had our sightseeing. Maybe later we’ll go to those places. Oh ya, Starbucks Coffee originated from Seattle as well as Amazon.com. We didnt know that a lot of things are from Seattle. When we first told the US Embassy person that we are going to Seattle, she’s kind of feeling weird coz ppl normally went to LA,San Francisco or Grand Canyon etc., if they went to US. Well, the main reason we want to visit here was of course to visit Ismail’s grave, and also mengimbas kembali kenangan ayah n mak la. Kak nin totally forgot everything. Well, maybe she remember a bit. She was 4@5 years old then. We went to Tacoma to have a view of the Narrows Brigde. Well, they have a lot of bridges here coz they have a lot of lakes. They have a very nice view of forests as well. Seattle is called as the Evergreen City ke macam tu lah. Cant remember the exact name tapi macam gitu lah. Penuh dengan kehijauan. Hehe.

After the 5 hours journey we went back and tido and the had an evening + night walk with Kak Nin and Abe. Thought of going to the Experience Music thing but it closes at 5p.m. Maybe some other time later. Hehe, oklah, better stop right now. Its late and it’s gonna be a long journey tomorrow!

I’m at Changi Airport now. It’s 5.30 in the morning. Been here since 10.30 p.m. Am waiting for the transit flight to Narita at 7.30 a.m before heading to Seattle. This internet access if free! How cool is that. Haha, the last time I saw in somewhere else’s airport we have to pay if we want to use their internet booth.

Last night after taking off from KLIA I did saw MMU from above. Tak pernah sedar pula sebelum ni boleh nampak MMU & Cyberia. Tak sedar kot. Selalunya dari bilik selalu la nampak kapal terbang duk pusing kat atas udara tu. Haha, sangat best sebab boleh recognize tu Cyberia n MMU biarpun time tu dah malam. Can see those lights yang dari tiba-tiba gelap ada la beberapa tempat tu yang cerah. Hehe. Dan dia memang buat pusingan kat MMU tu.  Dahla duk tepi nampk la kan.

Changi airport is somehow kinda cool I guess. They have lots of free things to do while waiting for the transit flight but because I’ve been here during the night and kind of tired, dun have the courage to try those things except for the internet of course! They have free movies, free Singapore city tour if the transit is more than 5 hours and etc byk la jugak lupa dah. Ye lah, boringla kan duk dalam airport je kan. Kitorang pun tidur je dah kata malam kan sampai. Rasa macam dalam Amazing Race pulak berkampung dalam airport. Hehe.

Pagi semalam masa nak balik ke Cyberjaya dari PJ boleh pulak tersesat. Takdelah sesat betul, cuma tersalah masuk simpang je. Hehe, kelakar lah pulak. Nasib baik keluar rumah awal sempat la nak pergi kelas on time lagi sesat-sesat pon. Selalunya sebelum ni lalu ikut LDP, tapi disebabkan tambang tol LDP naik dengan sangat mendadaknye, tak boleh la nak lalu selalu. Sekali sekala boleh la. Maka saya pon lalu lah ikut PLUS highway. Masa tu tak sampai Sg. Besi lagi, camne tah duduk kat lane last skali. Time tu tah macam mana tah otak boleh lost kejap, duk ikut je kereta kat depan tu sebab tengah slow kan. Malas nak bawah laju-laju sebab kalau laju kena lah concentrate abis. Kononnye nak relax sikit lah, tapi tah macam mana tah semua kereta kat lane tu masuk la simpang pegi Sri Petaling. Huhu, saya pon ternaik samalah kat situ sampai la ke highway KESAS. Memang la kat situ dia ada tulis nak pergi Cyberjaya tapi sebenarnya nanti saya akan lalu LDP balik gak kalau lalu situ. Maknanya lagi jauh la perjalanan saya sebab baik saya naik LDP dari kat Sunway lagi dekat. Sebenarnye time tu saya lalu PLUS sebab nak kira berapa kilometer total perjalanan dari rumah PJ. Memanglah diakui lalu LDP ke Cyberjaya jauh lagi dekat berbanding lalu PLUS. Saya nak tengok exact distance je sebab tak pernah kira betul-betul lagi. Tengok2 sesat pulak jadi tak dapat la nak kira betul2. Masuk KESAS tu takde pulak U-turn dekat2 tu. Siap kene bayar tol RM 2.20 lagi. Haha, kalau tau la baik lalu LDP awal-awal. Sama juga nanti bila cummulate total tambang tol tu. Ye lah sapa nak tau jadi macam ni kan. Pastu depan sikit dari tol tu baru ada U-turn. Nasib baik sebelah sana tu tak tol. Kalau tak dua kali tol la kene bayar. Hehe. Masa nak patah balik tu dah cross PLUS highway tapi still tak jumpa simpang nak pergi sana. Sebelum tu ada la nampak signboard turun tapi tah camne tah taktau la terlepas ke ape tengok2 jalan nak pergi Cheras dah pulak. Aiseh, dahla jam pulak pagi-pagi kan. Time orang semua nak pergi kerja. Huhu, nasib baik lah ada jugak U-turn lagi kat depan sikit. Haha, berapa kali punye U-turn dah. Tapi yang tak puas hati tu macam mana boleh terlepas simpang untuk kesekian kalinya. Alhamdulillah sampai la Cyberjaya siap sempat balik rumah dulu nak letak barang lepas tu baru pergi kelas. Hehe.

Planning nya nak balik Ahad lagi, tapi sebab ikut mak pergi shopping sampai pukul 6 petang macam malas pula nak balik malam-malam. Lagipun bahaya kan drive sorang2 malam2 kan. Haha, mak saya la tak berapa nak approve sangat padahal saya selalu je balik PJ malam dulu-dulu lah. Hehe. Pastu pulak tak siap packing barang lagi untuk trip kitorg sabtu ni. Dahla balik PJ Jumaat, takut tak sempat je sebab Sabtu malam dah nak kena naik flight pulak. Hoho.

Tensionnyer, feel like blogging pulak. In the middle of doing my math tuto but somehow feel like my brain couldnt work that well today. Huhu, it’s 3.50 pm and I should be going home already, but somehow I cant coz have to do as much questions as I could before I can go home. Aaaa.. Tension betul! Well, I made that rule actually. Ya lor, have to la right kalau nak cemerlang. Tapi apesal tah otak lembab je harini maybe sebab cuaca mendung + lembap kot. Hehe. Dont know wether the questions are hard or its me yang totally forgot everything. Huhu, well, the questions was about complex numbers. Dah lupe! The last time jumpa complex number ni was during my first sem in first year. Mana taknyer. Dahla result pon ala kadar je camne la nak bley igt kan. Hehe. Aduih. Punah harapan betul nak naikkan pointer camni. Soalan yang dah pernah belajar pon boleh rasa macam complicated. Ker, lecturer tu yang bagi soalan yang terlebih2 plak coz I asked my friend yang mmg hebat giler ni pon kata macam tak pernah nampak pon soklan tu. Entahla, dari pagi sampai sekarang baru berapa ketul soalan je dapat jawab. Duk amik balik buku tahun lepas, nota tahun lepas nak tgk balik still tak dapat clue pon. Huwaaa… Complex betul la. Benda2 basic pon boley lupe plak. Takpe umi, take it slow okeh. Tapi dah la lagi one week nak kene tinggal a week of study, tu yang risau tu. Kene la faham ape yang berlaku before bley continue. Last week pon tak banyak lagi benda yang belajar, tapi disebabkan dia belajar balik benda yang setahun yang lepas, susah la nak igt balik. Lecturer pon dah tak terangkan balik dah coz dia igt kitorg pandai2 sendiri la kan kata dah pass paper tu mesti la tau skit kan. Aiyoo.. short term memory betul la!  dahla, panjang plak membebel. Shud continue with my work and then balik rumah!
